Surprisingly in a market where it seems that every new news broadcast brings a sense of economic downturn in the real estate markets, job growth is up in many of the markets across the US. According to an article by Scott Thomas of Bizjournals published in the the Puget Sound Business Journal, Seattle ranks eleventh in the nation for job growth. The data by Bizjournals analyzed employment trends in the nations 100 largest labor markets. “Seattle just missed the top ten, coming in at number 11 with it’s private-sector work force increasing 11 percent to 1.48 million since 2002.” - Puget Sound Business Journal
