Save Columbia City Cinema – a Neighborhood Gem

Thinking of Going to The Movies? Come to Columbia City

So, one of the things I love about living near Columbia City is the Columbia City Cinema and it’s laid back easy movie going nature. The tickets and food are inexpensive and the screen large and they play first run flicks right in our neighborhood.

Apparently though, September is a slow month for movies in general and the Columbia City Cinema is suffering from less then adequate attendance at their showings. If movie attendance doesn’t pick up they may have to make some difficult decisions as to the longevity of the cinema. This would be a horrible blow to the neighborhood that is thriving and growing and the owners, I’m sure don’t want to see it go.

If you are in the mood to go see a movie, please head on down to the Cinema in Columbia City and support one of our only locally owned movie theaters.
