by Heather Morford on September 25, 2007

cityhardware.pngIf you need to pick up paint rollers or some nails to hang a new picture, most likely you’ll be getting in the car and taking a trip to Home Depot or Lowes South of downtown Seattle. Apparently now, you have a local neighborhood choice.

City Hardware will be opening a new store in South Lake Union soon and will be a welcomed addition to the downtown area. Mark Gimbel the owner is filling a “niche” for all the new residents moving into the area.

According to their website..

City Hardware is your neighborhood hardware store – locally owned and operated! Located in the rapidly revitalizing South Lake Union area, we opened our doors in 2007 to serve the needs of downtown residents and businesses by providing access to more than 60,000 quality items – everything you need to keep your space working and looking great!
